John Kreger Died At Palmerton Hospital Today

John Henry Kreger, 54, of Lehighton, R. 4, died Monday, August 29, in Palmerton Hospital at 8 a. m. He had been ill for the past four years.

Born in Jonas, he was a member of the Gilberts Reformed Church and was employed at the Palmerton plant of the New Jersey Zinc Co. for the past thirty years.

He was the son of Mrs. Mary Kreger, Kresgeville, and the late William Kreger.

Surviving with his mother are his wife, Mrs. Mary Haydt Kreger, and three daughters, Eleanor and Marie at home, and Mrs. Cleo Berger, of Palmerton, R. 1; one brother, Mithell Kreger, Kresgeville, and five sisters, Mrs. Roy Berger, Palmerton: Mrs. Florence Cleres, Philadelphia; Mrs. Pearl Berger, Kresgeville; Mrs. Harvey Berger, Palmerton, and Mrs. Delbert Frable, Kresgeville. Two grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Thursday, September 1, in the Leonardis Funeral Home, 38 Broadway, with the Rev. Mark Leuchnor, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lehighton. officiating.

Burial wi11 he made in Franklin Heights Memorial Park, Weissport. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p. m.
