Kenneth B. Fox, 41, of South Sioux City died Friday, Jan. 16, 1998, near Emerson, Neb. of injuries suffered in an auto accident.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church in South Sioux City, with the Rev. Ross Burkhalter officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday at the Becker-Hunt Funeral Home. The body will then be taken to the church for visitation until 8:30 p.m., with a scriptural wake service at 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Fox was born Oct. 16, 1956, in Sioux City, the son of Alfred W. and Peggy (Spring) Fox. He attended St. Michael School in Sioux City and graduated from Heelan High School in 1974. He graduated from Briar Cliff College in 1984, with a degree in business and psychology.

He married LeeAnn Bates on Oct. 26, 1979, in Sioux City. He was employed with the City of Sioux City for nine years, then with the City of South Sioux City as a water and sewer superintendent for nine years. He was currently employed as the water and sewer superintiendent for the City of Wayne, Neb.

He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in South Sioux City.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Grady and a daughter, Katie, both at home; his mother of Leeds; three brothers and their wives, James and Val of Sioux City, Don and Didi of Olathe, Kan. and Bill and Pam of Skokie, Ill.; two sisters, Mary Anderson and Ruth and her husband Jim Lesline, all of Sioux City; and 21 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents and a nephew.

Pallbearers will be Chris and Greg Fox, Tommy, Danny and Jeff Anderson, Jimmy Lesline Jr., Brad and Brent Bates, and Bobby Loggins. Sioux City Journal
