Born in Casey County on April 13, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Leonard G. and Ella Mae Pierce Weddle.
She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lewell Purdom; a brother, T.M. Weddle Sr. of Liberty; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Weddle.
Funeral services were July 20 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Bro. Richard Easterling and Bro. Jimmy Brown. Burial was in Casey County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Jeff Hatter, Andrew Weddle, Steve Wardrip, Scott Wardrip, Billy Weddle and Jerry Weddle.
