Patricia Morrow Trueman, 65, of Ligonier, died on Friday, May 19, 2006, at the Bethlen Home. She was born March 11, 1941, in Latrobe, the daughter of Margaret Concus Morrow, of Wilpen (Ligonier Township), and the late Jay P. Morrow. She graduated from Point Park College, Pittsburgh, and spent most of her working career in administrative positions with the Veterans Administration at Butler and Highland Drive, Pittsburgh. Upon returning to the Ligonier area in 1989, she was medical records manager at the Ligonier Valley Treatment Center, Stahlstown, and most recently, postmaster relief at the Rector Post Office and a secretary/receptionist at the Laughlintown Garage. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, (Boston) McKeesport. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy J. Trueman; and her father, Jay P. Morrow. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Concus Morrow. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at the SNYDER FUNERAL HOME INC. & CREMATORY, Bell and East Church streets, Ligonier. Graveside services and interment will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ligonier Valley Cemetery with the Rev. Fred Vanderhoff officiating. Patricia requested memorials be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, the Arthritis Association or the Ligonier Valley Library. Elizabeth Snyder Bloom, funeral director.
