Helen Goldfarb (Mrs. Henry Carter) is the daughter of Samuel Goldfarb and Anna Cohen. Both her parents were from Austria. They were married about 1888, resided in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey, and had at least 10 children.

OBITUARY:
CARTER, Helen, beloved wife of Henry. Cherished mother of Susan (Blair) Isrow. Adored grandmother of Larry, Adam and Ashley. Loving sister of Rose Kramer, Ben Gordon and Max Goldfarb.

"Services Tuesday at Hilldale (sic) Memorial Park. Contact Groman Mortuary (748-2201 or 877-0335) for time. Groman Mortuary, directors. Family prefers donations to the American Cancer Society."

NOTE 1: Helen Carter is interred at Hillside Memorial Park in Culver City, Los Angeles, California. Since I was sure her obituary made an error in identifying the cemetery I called to verify that she is in fact interred in Hillside Memorial Park. This was verified with the cemetery per phoncon on 24 Jan 2020 by OutOfMyTree.

NOTE 2: Ben Gordon's birth name is Benjamin Goldfarb. For reasons unknown, some members of this family use the surname Gordon.)
