Daughter of the late William Appleton, II, she is survived by her mother Jean Marie Eckman Morlack and stepfather Glenn R. Morlack; her grandmother: Jean Eckman; a brother William Appleton, III; nephew Dylan Appleton; her Aunt Donna, Uncle Leonard, Aunt Danette, Aunt Deidre, Aunt Kathy, and a host of other Aunts and Uncles. Colette’s cousins who were like her siblings: Kristen, Kelly, Christopher, and Heather, and several other special cousins. A Very Dear Friend Byron Stevenson.
She can best remembered for her infectious smile, kindness and generous heart. Many referred to Colette as our angel on earth. A viewing will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington on Thursday from 6-8pm and also on Friday from 9-9:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul’s RC Church, E. Union Street, Burlington with Mausoleum Entombment to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
