Loving mother of Thomas, Eugene and Marylouise of New Haven, CT, the late Robert, Teresa, and Anthony and Patricia Palumbo of Amawalk, NY. Loving grandmother of Sara, Amy and Rebecca Harris and Jacqueline, Katherine and Thomas Harris Palumbo. Teresa, along with her husband Thomas, were the founders and directors of the Cardinal Hayes Center for Exceptional Children. Teresa worked tirelessly for over 50 years on behalf of the developmentally disabled. Teresa's life of service will be celebrated at Schuyler Hill Funeral Home, 3535 E. Tremont Avenue, Bronx, NY 10465 on Thursday and Friday, 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict's Church on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Calvary Fund or God's Love We Deliver.
