She and her sister, Mrs. Martha Smith, lived together and died just hours apart.
Married 1: William G. Russell on March 31, 1853 in Morgan County, IL.
They had two known daughters: Martha Jane and Elizabeth Sarah
Later in her life, she received a Civil War pension on her first husband, William G. Russell.

Married 2: Adam Wenger on May 8, 1872 in Cass County, IL.
They had one known daughter together, Lillie.

Survived by three daughters: Mrs. D. C. Overly of Palisades, CO, Mrs. Horace Overly of near Neosho Rapids, and Miss Lillie Wenger, who lived with her mother and Aunt; and one brother, David Angel of Chapin, IL.

Double funeral services was held at their home. Mrs. Wenger was buried in Hartford next to her husband. Her sister, Martha was buried in Chapin, IL.
