Mrs. Lucy E. Grove of Fishersville died at three o'clock this morning after having lived a long and useful life. She was 69 years and 4 months old. Funeral services will be at Mount Vernon church near Stuarts Draft at three o'clock Saturday afternoon with interment at the adjacent cemetery. Rev. H. Lee Scott will have charge of the services. Her husband, the late W. S. Grove, died in 1929.

Ten children survive the deceased: Mrs. Nettie Meeks and Dave Grove of Beech Grove, Nelson County; Mrs. Sallie Smith, Massie's Mill; Mrs. Lily Painter, Montebello; Mrs. Gladys Lovegrove, Stuarts Draft; Mrs. Lona Bradley, Staunton; Mrs. Eva Beaty, Sherando; Mrs. Giles Dickerson and Hunter S. Grove of Fishersville.
