He was born in Germany and resided in Syracuse 55 years. Mr. Clos was a machinist at Continental Can Co. 39 years. He was a member of the Workingmen’s Sick and Death Benefit Society.
Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clifford Grunder and Mrs. Alfred Groesbeck; seven sons, Herman, George, William, Robert, Carl, Walter and Edwin Clos; one sister, Mrs. Jacob Rech; 15 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services from the George W. Ballweg Funeral Home, Rev. Frank Shimer officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
