According to Mary Almyra Folmar Welch, a descendant of John Lansdale Folmar, Jimmie died of typhoid fever in Birmingham, AL in 1900 while visiting her sister, Cora Ella. She was buried in Elmwood Cemetery and her grave is one of the first at Elmwood. According to Louise Robinson Bruner Gober (Jimmie's niece), Jimmie died on 13 Nov 1900.

Per FindaGrave contributor Pete Mohney, "Elmwood has no record at all of Jimmie Lee Robinson. Given that she died in 1900, in the early months of the existence of the cemetery, it's possible the record has gotten lost. If she was buried there, she's almost certainly in block 11 along the road, and her grave is not marked (I've photographed all the markers). There is no map of that area, so her grave probably won't ever be located even if she is at Elmwood."
