"DAVID BERKEY DIES AT HOME OF SON

David Berkey, a well known and respected resident of Hickory Kingdom District, died Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock in the home of his son, Charles E. Berkey, of Hickory, PA., near Sabula. Mr. Berkey was born in Rural Valley, Armstrong County, April 17, 1850, where he resided for a number of years. Since the death of his wife, he had been making his home with his son.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. C.S. Ashby, of the state of California, and three sons: C.E. Berkey, of Hickory; J.W. Berkey, of Rossiter, and Warren Berkey.

Funeral services will be held at the home of son, C.E. Berkey, at Hickory, Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and interment will be made in the Circle Hill Cemetery."

David Berkey, a well known and respected resident of the Hickory Kingdom district died Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock in the home of his son, Charles E Berkey, of hickory, Pa., near Sabula. Mr Berkey was born in Rural Valley, Pa., Armstrong County April 17, 1850, where he resided for a number of years. Since the death of his wife, he had been making his home with his son.

The deceased was a man who held the esteem of a number of friends, who will learn of his death with much regret. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. C. S. Ashby, of the state of California, and these sons: C. E. Berkey, of Hickory, J. W. Berkey, of Rossiter and Warren Berkey, whose whereabouts are unknown. Funeral services will be held at the home of his son, C. E. Berkey, Hickory, Pa., Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock and interment will be made in the Circle Hill cemetery, Punxsutawney.
