Clyde Reuben Monnette, 78 of Plano, Texas passed away Saturday, January 4th, 2020 surrounded by family. He was born on June 4, 1941 in the town of Little River, WI and native of Peshtigo, Wisconsin. Clyde resided in Plano, Texas for the past 41 years & is a son of (the late) Alphonse & Glorianna (Noack) Monnette.

Clyde married Nancy Laudien on April 5, 1975 in Plantation, Florida.

He is survived by his spouse Nancy (Laudien) Monnette of Plano, Texas;
three children: Donald (Lisa) Rohrbach of Wylie, Texas; Renee (Jason) McMenamy of Plano, Texas and Cheri (Lance) Willmon of Waxahachie, Texas.
Clyde is also survived by Nine Grandchildren: Synia (Robert), Brandon, Michelle, Marrissa (Dylan), Eric (Ashley), Taylor (Logan), Brittany (Kevin), Courtney and Robert.
9 Great Children: Emma, Jaylee, Blayze, Myleigh, Blakeleigh, Amber, Haisley, Easton and Kortnie.
Nine Brothers; Wayne, Dale (Angie), Dick (Audrey), Terry (Dianna), Randy (Rhea), Al Jr., Mark (Colene), Lamont and Paul (Courtney).
Five Sisters: Jane Hinds, Donna (Milferd) Behnke, Judy Seelbach, Beverly Monnette and Maggie (Jack) Biddy.
Clyde is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews and a growing number of Grand Nieces and Grand Nephews.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents Alphonse & Glorianna, one son: Robert Rohrbach, two brothers: Robert & infant Dean and sister infant Barbara.

A Catholic Liturgy of the Word memorial service and celebration of Clyde's life will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 7:00 PM at Ted Dickey Funeral Home, located at 2128 18th Street, Plano, Texas 75074.
Father Michael Baynham of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Plano will officiate. At a later date an additional military service will be held at the Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas, where Clyde will be interned and honored with full United States Navy Military honors.

Clyde proudly served in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1963 aboard the USS Saratogo.
