German twelfth-grade student at the Paula Furst Community School in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district of Berlin, Germany who was among 84 people reportedly killed in a horrific July 14, 2016 terror attack when a 19-tonne cargo truck was deliberately driven into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day on the famous Promenade des Anglais in the French Riviera resort city of Nice in southeastern France, resulting in the injury of 303 other people including another German student before the attack ended following an exchange of gunfire during which the lorry driver identified as 31-year-old Tunisian national Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel was shot dead by police, in which the incident has been described as the third major terrorist attack in France since January 2015 following the Charlie Hebdo shooting and the Paris attacks in November 2015.
