Carmen Arroyo, nee Galarza, was born in the San Salvador community of Caguas, Puerto Rico, to Luis Galarza Rivera and Alejandrina Carrion. She was the wife of the late Pedro Arroyo; mother of Maria, Pedro and Sandra Arroyo, and the late Mary Arroyo; grandmother of Hector, Peter, Damaris, Maria, Vincent, Alexandra, Diana, and Giselle; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews that will miss her tremendously. Visitation was held at Alvarez Funeral Home. Funeral mass was held at St. Aloysius Church. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
