Mrs. Ellen Blair, 70, died at 9am Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ira Gilson, Titusville, where she was visiting for the holidays. She lived on Route 2, Franklin, and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Hendershot.
She was born at Nickleville May 16, 1807, and 57 years ago was married to J. W. Blair. She was a member of the Cranberry Methodist Church. Besides the daughter mentioned, she leaves the following other children: William, Clyde and Homer Blair and Mrs. Minnie Scott, of Sharon; Miss Edna Blair and Clarence Blair, of Cranberry, and Mont Blair, of Stoneboro. There are 2S grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three brothers, Harve and William Hendershot, of Cranberry, and Judd Hendershot, of Franklin. The body was removed to the Buchanan Funeral Home in Franklin, where services will be held at 2 p. m Tuesday, with interment in Brandon Cemetery.
