Jennie (Buccola) Alessi, 94, of 103 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, died Saturday evening, Nov. 16, 1991, at Elliot Hospital in Manchester after a sudden illness.
She was a member of the Merrimack Seniors Club.
Mrs. Alessi was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Merrimack.
She was born in Palermo, Italy, on June 25, 1897, daughter of the late Bernard and Anna (Musso) Buccola. She had been a resident of Merrimack since 1975.
Mrs. Alessi was the widow of Nicholas J. Alessi, who died in 1976.
Survivors include two sons, Carmelo Alessi of New York, N.Y. and Bernard Alessi of Sunrise, Fla.; a daughter, Anne Smilari, with whom she lived in Merrimack; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mercy Church in Merrimack. Burial will follow in Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack.
