In 1869 she became a member of the First Presbyterian church of this village and when physically able was always a faithful attendant at church and consistent in all her religions duties. She has been a homekeeper, the central figure around whom a family of affectionate children have clustered and from whom they received much that is good which they will cherish in memory. She leaves a husband, a son and three daughters to mourn her loss.
The funeral was largely attended Monday afternoon at the home, Rev. E. N. Manley of Oakfield, her former pastor, officiating, the interment being made in the Camden cemetery.
