Angelina "Angie" Stanley, age 90, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020.
Angie graduated high school from St. Patrick‘s Academy in Raton, NM and moved to Las Vegas, NM, where she met and married, her husband, Louis R. Stanley who was a member of the United States Air Force, while training at the local university. They moved to Clovis, AFB, then to Albuquerque.
Angie was very active in her church, a member of the Legion of Mary, supported many outlying religious organizations, including two pilgrimages to Europe.
Angie was a loving and devoted mother and loving friend to all who knew her.
Angie was the daughter of the late Donato and Epimenia Lucero, originally of San José, NM.
Angie is survived by her two sisters, Stella Vigil and Cora (Richard) Ogilvie, her three adult children, Dan Stanley and his wife, Krissy, Tom Stanley and his wife, Mary Jo and Nancy Anderson and her husband, Samuel, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family is especially thankful to Father Gonzáles, Queen of Peace Catholic Chapel, the staff at Presbyterian Hospital and Daniels Funeral Home.
A Rosary is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 815 Guaymas Pl. NE, Albuquerque, NM, on Lomas Blvd. NE). Interment will follow at Sandia Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Albuquerque. Reception to be announced at church service.
