ALBERT HAZEN DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Albert Hazen, for many years a beloved resident of the vicinity of Nichols, passed away last Sunday evening at 10 o'clock. He was 63 years of age, and had been in failing health for a year or more. Bright's disease was the cause of his death. Surviving are three sons and three daughters.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church in Nichols at 9:30 Wednesday morning. Burial was made in the Catholic cemetery near Nichols.

AGED RESIDENT OF NICHOLS DIES

Nichols, Ia., Oct. 3. – Robert Hazen, age 62, for many years a resident of this community, died here last night at 10 o'clock. Death was due to complications of old age. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9:30 from St. Mary's church and burial will be in the Catholic cemetery here.
NOTE: Should be Albert instead of Robert.

FUNERAL SERVICES OF ALBERT HAZEN HELD AT NICHOLS

Nichols, Ia., Oct. 6. – Funeral services for Albert Hazen, who died at his home near Nichols Sunday evening, were held from St. Mary's Catholic church in Nichols Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Requiem high mass was said for the deceased.
Mr. Hazen is survived by one sister, Mrs. L. Tevoert of Davenport and six children, his wife having died 23 years ago. The children are Theodore Hazen and Mrs. Arnold Brugman of Muscatine, Mrs. Albert Holmes of Lake township, Mrs. Will Pike, Ollie Hazen and Clare Hazen, all of Nichols.
Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery. The pallbearers were John Croutcup, George Umscheid, Arnold Kaalberg, John Salemink, Wesley Rhodes and Barney Kaalberg.

NOTE: Should be Cleve, instead of Clare.
