Mr. Brown was the son of the late Jim C. and Modena Hull Brown. He was a retired Marine, having served from 1959-1979. He worked for Hartman Funeral Home of McComb and part time with the Smithdale Post Office.
He was survived by his wife, Lisa Kay Etheridge Brown of McComb; one son, Victor Brown and wife Wanda of Millbrook, AL; two daughters, Stacy Thornhill and husband Ronny of New Home, TX, and Mary Margaret Brown of Irving, TX; one stepson, Joshua Franck Carona of McComb; one sister, Jimmie Crotwell of Ruston, LA; one brother, Woody Brown of Jackson, MS; and 9 grandchildren.
