Felix Woodie Brown passed away April 10th, 2021, he was 89 years old. He was born in Big Spring, TX on January 17th, 1932 to the late Jim C. and Mary Hall Brown. Woodie was excellent with his hands, he could build anything and he worked hard. He had a love for animals, especially cats and dogs. He was an outdoorsman; he enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle anywhere the road could take him; also, he never missed a game of BINGO at the VFW. Woodie is a father, grandfather and friend that will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his son's mother, Lavada Catherine Brown; his spouse, Biddie Hilda Brown; son, Jerry Brown; brother, Marcus Brown and two sisters, Louise Allen and Jimmie Brown.

Woodie is survived by his son, Richard Brown of Loveland, Colorado; daughters, Phyllis Kelly of Florence, MS, Carla Walker of Crystal Springs, MS, Luanne Brown of Amarillo, TX and Susan Brown of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Jon, Brittany, Chris and Nicholas Brown.

Funeral services are Friday, April 16th, 2021 at Hickory Ridge Baptist Church in Florence at 11 AM with Rev. Terry Fant officiating. The visitation will start at 10 AM until 11 AM. Interment will be at Rosemont Memorial Cemetery in Jackson, MS.

Serving the family as pallbearers are Dakota and Paul Mitchell, James King, Andrew Martin, Denise Little and Amanda Killabrew.
