Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Mr. Wininger is survived by his sons, John (Angie) Wininger of Guntersville and Tom Wininger of Fort Payne; grandchildren, Wesley (Kathryn) Wininger of Guntersville and Will (Murphy) Wininger of Memphis, TN; great granddaughter, Annalia Wininger of Guntersville; sisters, Kelly Harris and Billie Cornelison, both of Scottsboro; brother, J.W. Wininger of Scottsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Wininger; parents, Jasper and Ada Wininger; brothers, Marion, Calvin, Hollis, Olan, and S.J. Wininger; and sisters, Evie Precise and Myrtle Noe Guffey.
