Aaron Shaffer, 46, of Lindenhurst, IL passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 in his home.

Aaron was born November 7, 1973 in Waukegan, IL to Bill and Debbie Shaffer. He attended Waukegan High School and Trinity United Lutheran Church. Aaron and his brother Nathan, owned and operated S&S Custom Kitchens for 10 years. In his younger years, he played both baseball and football; he was also involved in BMX Racing into his late teens. Most recently, he enjoyed Sprint Car Racing, either driving himself or helping others as part of their Pit Crew. Most of all, Aaron loved his family.

Aaron is survived by his parents, Bill and Debbie Shaffer; fiancé, Rebecca Estes; children, Stephenie (Steven Summerhill) Shaffer, Tiffany Estes, Jeffrey Estes and Kayden Shaffer; brother, Nathan Shaffer and his significant other Michelle Andersen; aunts and uncles, Mark and Jacque Kiiskila, Bill and Sandy Waldrup, Gary and Sherry Underwood; nieces, Mia and Bella Shaffer; special cousins, Kevin and Bryan Perkey, Melissa Underwood, Becky Maguire; and numerous other cousins, extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Dorothy and Dale Shaffer, and Joann and Martin Kiiskila.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Trinity United Lutheran Church, 658 Grand Ave., Waukegan, IL 60085 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at North Shore Garden of Memories.
