HARRODSBURG - Eddie Shewmaker, 459 Mooreland Ave., died at 11:45 a.m. Thursday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. He was employed by Norfleet Hardware for 53 years and was a member of Harrodsburg Christian Church. Born in Washington County on March 15, 1887, he was the son of the late Hartford and Martha Corn Shewmaker.
Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. K.C. Fallis of Mercer County; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Ransdell Funeral Home with the Rev. Phil Williams and Terry Morrison officiating. Burial will be in the Ebenezer church cemetery. Visitation is at the funeral home after 2 p m. today.
