Producer. Award winning music producer who worked with Fleetwood Mac, the Scorpions, Foreigner, Ozzy Osbourne, Pat Benatar, Whitesnake and many other well known rock bands. As a sound engineer working at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles, California, he worked with two new artists, Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, and produced their first album, "Buckingham Nicks" in 1973. After Mick Fleetwood heard a track from the album, he invited them to join Fleetwood Mac. Their 1975 eponymous album was also produced by Olsen. The album went on to sell over seven million records in the United States. The album's success made him sought after by major bands, and some of his notable productions include Foreigner's "Double Vision" (1978), Pat Benatar's "Crimes of Passion" (1980), Whitesnake's self titled album (1987) featuring the hit song "Here I Go Again," and Ozzy Osbourne's "No Rest for the Wicked" (1988). He produced more than one hundred twenty albums, twenty-four of which went platinum, and earned six Grammy Awards.
