Ada was born in Ohio. She married Finley Best 12 November 1872 in Dane county, Wisconsin (probably Rutland Twp.). About 1880, the family moved to Montrose Twp.(also in Dane county).
Their children were: Erwin Wilford and Bertha Irene, born in Rutland; James Benjamin, Harry Thomas and Lavern Lester, born in Montrose.
Her name is spelled sometimes as SEARLS and other times as SEARLES. Not positive which is correct.
