Susan M. Cangelosi, 71, of Nazareth, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospice, of Bethlehem. She is the loving wife of Joseph W. Cangelosi. They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on April 4th. Sue was born on January 1, 1949 in Fountain Hill, PA. She is the daughter of the late Victor F. Messinger and late Dorothy Jean (Frantz) Messinger. She graduated from Wilson High School in 1966 and continued her education earning her Bachelor's Degree at Penn State University, where she studied merchandising. Sue most recently worked for Wegman’s of Easton where she served as the Knowledge-Based Service Team Leader. Prior to that, she was the Head Librarian at Holy Family School, of Nazareth, while serving as a Teacher’s Aide and head of the Aftercare Program. In her spare time, she served as the President of the Upper Nazareth Township Athletic Association where she watched her two sons and many of her former students compete. She devoted her time and energy to her family, friends and her responsibilities at work. Everyone could count on Sue. She always put others first and was available to help the many people who called her a friend. She was a faithful member of Holy Family Catholic Church, of Nazareth. Sue was a committed Wife, Mother and Nana and she adored her family.

In addition to her husband, Sue is deeply missed by sons, Charles Cangelosi and wife, Jessica and grandchildren, Hugo and Willa of Basking Ridge, NJ, Michael Cangelosi and wife, Jaime and grandchildren, Landon and Britt of Chatham, NJ; sister, Sally Maragulia, of Nazareth; two nephews and a niece.

A prayer service presided by Fr. Frank Natale at the Joseph F. Reichel Funeral Home Inc., of Nazareth, and burial at Holy Saviour Cemetery, of Bethlehem, will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
