Daniel Edwin Heisman, 71, of 38 South Pyle, Kansas City, Kansas, died yesterday at the home after an 8-year illness. He was born in Titusville, PA., and lived in Kansas City, Kansas, 28 years. He retired from the National Bellas Hess company in 1956 as a stockman. He was a World War I veteran and a member of the Quindaro American Legion post. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Gladys I. Heisman of the home; three sons, Daniel M. Heisman, Troy, Mo.; William Heisman, 1108 Pacific, and Thomas E. Heisman, 306 North Eightieth terrace, Wyandotte County; five daughters, Mrs. Doris M. Bell, 5811 Blue Jacket lane, Shawnee; Mrs. Mary Lou Goeffert, 8019 Northrup, Wyandotte County; Mrs. Annabel Madl, Topeka; Mrs. Gladys I. Burks, 836 Sandusky, and Mrs. Bertha G. Carroll, Lexington Mo.; two half -sisters, Mrs. Margaret Holliday, 4230 Lathrop, and Mrs. Marion Jones, 6226 Leavenworth, Wyandotte County; two half brothers, Robert Abernathy, 1337 Freeman, and William Abernathy, Kansas City, Kansas, and 22 grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday at the Newcomer chapel in Kansas City, Kansas; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas. Friends may call after 6 o'clock Friday night at the chapel.
