Obituary: KC Star 31 March 1949

Petty-Mrs. Annabelle D. Petty, 58, Bethel, Wyandotte County, died yesterday at St. Margaret's hospital. She was a resident of Wyandotte County thirty-two years. Surviving are her husband, Fowler Petty of the home; a son, John Wood, 913 West Thirty-eighth; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Swergart, Tulsa, Ok.; a brother, Daniel Heisman, 38 South Pyle; three half brothers, Joseph Abernathy, Bethel; Robert Abernathy, 1337 Freeman, and William Abernathy, 1950 North Fourteenth, and two half sisters, Mrs. Margaret Laird and Mrs. Marian Jones, 1950 North Fourteenth, Services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday at the Long chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
