Robert “Kirk” Wade, 35, a neph-
ew of Janet Anthony of Oberlin,
died Friday, July 14, 2006, as the
result of injuries received in a car
accident east of Cimarron.
He was born Jan. 19, 1971, at Gar-
den City, the son of Lyman and
Carol (Maring) Wade. He attended
school in Cimarron and graduated in
1989. His father was a 1971 gradu-
ate of Decatur Community High
School.
He married Nicole Demuth on
Dec. 17, 1993, in Dodge City. He
was working as a service technician
at Dodge City Tire. He was a mem-
ber of the First Baptist Church of
Cimarron.
Survivors include his wife,
Nicole; a son, Mason; four daugh-
ters, Maranda, Larissa, Erica and
Crystal; and his parents, Lyman and
Carol Wade, all of Cimarron; two
sisters, Theresa Crout, Denver, and
Erin Jones, Dodge City; and his
grandfather, Ivan Kirk Maring, Lo-
gan.
Funeral services were held Tues-
day morning at the church in Cim-
arron with the Rev. Richard Deim-
und officiating. Burial was at the
Cimarron Cemetery with military
rites by Howard Gotschal Veterans
of Foreign Wars Post.
Memorials were established in his
