CIMARRON —


Carol Ann Wade, 66, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at The Shepherd's Center in Cimarron.
She was born April 26, 1945, at Colorado Springs, Colo., to Ivan Kirk and Bernadine (Brown) Maring. She married Lyman L. Wade on Feb. 14, 1965, at Oberlin.
Mrs. Wade worked for The Shepherd's Center of Cimarron in the housekeeping department.
Mrs. Wade is survived by her husband, Lyman L. Wade of Cimarron; one daughter, Theresa Crout of Erie, Colorado; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Kirk Wade, and one daughter, Erin LeeAnn Wade Jones.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Cimarron, with the Rev. Richard Deimund presiding. Burial will follow at the Cimarron Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Swaim Funeral Chapel in Cimarron.
