William Kreil, 85, 1414 Jelinek Ave., Schofield, died Sunday ina Wausau hospital.

Services will be held at noon Wednesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. Joseph Rafacz will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Peterson Funeral Home, Wausau, where there will be a parish vigil at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Mr. Kreil was born Nov. 10, 1892, in Sheboygan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kreil. On May 17, 1921, in Wausau, he was married to Victoria Skarweicki, who survives. He was a veteran of World War I and a retired employee of Wausau Paper Mills.

Survivors besides his wife include a son Alfred, 1414 Jelinek Ave., Schofield; a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Winchell, De Pere; five brothers, Frank and Nick, both of Manitowoc, Reinhold, Milwaukee, Martin, Oak Lawn, Ill., and August, Antigo; five sisters, Mrs. Elsie Radtke, Milwaukee, Mrs. Lillian Edwards, Mrs. Ellen Dykstra and Mrs. Annette Stutnick, all of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Ollie Wagner, Iowa; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
