Note by Melanie Ward ... Mrs. Abbott was the person who inspired me to become a genealogist. 20+ years later I'm still building my family history. To any of you genealogists out there who read this, this Woman devoted a great deal of her life to recording family histories, community histories and inspired many, like me, to carry on. I loved and admired her very much. Good Bye Mrs. Abbott, much love and admiration.
