Elsie E. Richmond, age 91, of 2602 Forest Ave., Two Rivers, died Saturday morning, April 6, 1996, at Two Rivers Community Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 1996, at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home. Rev. Isidro Carrera will officiate at the service with burial to follow at Forest View Cemetery.
She was born April 19, 1904, in Athens, Wis., daughter of the late Richard and Anna Hesse Henning. On July 3, 1926, she married Richard J. Richmond in Waukegan, Ill. He preceded her in death in 1960. Elsie was employed at Kresges for many years prior to her retirement. She was a long time member of Emanuel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Joyce Fogeltanz, Cato, Gail and Larry Du Vall, Two Rivers; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Ivor Richmond, Two Rivers, Darrell and Barbara Richmond, Milan, Mich., Dennis and Judy Richmond, Two Rivers, Keith and Marcie Richmond, Two Rivers, Jan and Jane Richmond, Manitowoc; special family includes, George and Lois Witting and children, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by three sons, Merle, Lyle and Glenn, two daughters-in-law, Mae and Carolyn Richmond, one son-in-law, Leroy Fogeltanz, a granddaughter, Lori Matte, five sisters and four brothers.
Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12 noon until 2 p.m.
