Jeannie Allred Allen, 64 of Clay-Palmerdale, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at her home. She was born on September 29, 1955 to the late James L. Allred and Elsie Mae Skillman Allred in Etowah County. Jeannie was a member of the Welcome #2 Missionary Baptist Church; the president of the Dixie Garden club and the greatest housewife for the last 48 beautiful years to her husband, Mike. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Mary Ann Allred and Jerry Allred. She leaves to cherish her memory by the love of her life, Mike Allen; her son, Jason (Amanda) Allen; grandchildren, Isaac, Josh, Sam, and Drew Allen; brothers, Bro. Johnny (Necie) Allred and Jimmy (Diane) Allred; sister, Jennifer Reid; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Remlap Cemetery with Bro. Tommy Riggs and Bro. Johnny Allred officiating. Lemley Funeral Home is honored to serve the Allen Family.
