Harlan G. Larson of Manitowoc passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023.

Harlan was born on August 22, 1926 to Oscar and Inga (Hanson) Larson in Manitowoc County. He attended school in Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1944.

Harlan married Geneve Blahnik in 1951. She preceded him in death in 1982. He married Valeria S. Kanter in 1985. She preceded him in death in 2003.

Harlan worked for Lakeside Foods and The Manitowoc Company. He retired from The Manitowoc Company in 1987 as Assistant Treasurer.

Harlan is survived by one daughter, Valerie (Robert) Diedrich; two step-sons, Craig (Barbara) Kanter and Steven Kanter; three step-grandsons, Thomas, Jack (Jackie) and Max (Romi) Kanter; four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Ellie, Sydney, and Chloe Kanter; other relatives and friends. Harlan was preceded in death by his parents, his wives, four brothers and six sisters.

Private services were held at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory of Manitowoc. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery. Online condolences can be sent to the family at harriganparksidefuneralhome.com.
