SAD HOMECOMING AWAITS ALFONSE LETTENBERGER ON RETURN FROM OVERSEAS—BABE DEAD
Alphonse Lettenberger, who is serving overseas and hopes soon to return, will not have the joyous homecoming which he is anticipating for death has stepped in to mar the happiness which he expected to be his.
A six months old son, born since Mr. Lettenberger departed for service, died at the Glenn Inn last evening and the father will not see his babe. Mrs. Lettenberger has made her home with her parents here since her husband’s departure. The babe had been ill only a few hours.
