Alma Rosella Cottrill, 94, of Clarksburg passed away on April 22, 2020 at her residence.

She was born in Custer Addition on November 1, 1925, a daughter of the late Jess Richard and Minnie Ann Wagner Glaspell.

She is survived by her husband, Marion Jeff Cottrill, whom she married on November 14, 1952; four daughters, Janice Bonnell and her husband Ron of East View, Brenda Diaz and her husband Louie of Stealey, Carol Cumberledge of Lake Ridge, and Monica Travelstead and her husband Jimmy of Rivesville; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having also been preceded in death by six brothers, Bud, Harry, James, Homer, Donald and Paul Glaspell; and two grandsons, Bobby and Todd Bartlett.

Mrs. Cottrill was a retired presser with Burl Thorpe Dry Cleaning with 30 years of service, and was a member of the Harrison County Senior Citizens and the Christian Missionary Alliance Church. She loved her family and was a great wife, mom and grandmother.

A private graveside service will be held in the Sunset Memorial Park.
