She was a Navy veteran of World War II and a homemaker. She was an active member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fayetteville, member of Colonial Dames of America and Daughters of The American Revolution. She enjoyed doing genealogy and volunteering at the Jones Center for Families in Springdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe D. Lindsey, whom she married in December 1947 and one son, J. Scott Lindsey.
Survivors include one son, Craig Lindsey of Combs; one daughter, Gail Elmer of Spring, Texas; one brother, J.C. Womack of Kansas City, Missouri; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
