Nancy E. Gessert, age 69, of 16125 Tannery Rd., Mishicot, entered into eternal rest Tuesday November 22, 2016 at her residence.
Nancy was born August 7, 1947 in Sheboygan to the late Ted and Ione Frankmen Neuser and has been a longtime area resident. She was a graduate of the Mishicot High School. Nancy married Edwin F. Gessert October 23, 1971 in Kellnersville and he preceded her in death November 15, 2013. Nancy worked as an inspector for the Hamilton Manufacturing Co. She was a member of St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch Mills. Nancy was a very loving and dedicated wife to Edwin. She was an animal lover, and especially loved her cats. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Edwin III and Mary Gessert, of Two Rivers, Randy and Lynn Gessert, of Mishicot, Kenneth and Janice Gessert, of Manitowoc, Tammy Le Cloux and her fiance, Chad Lesperance, of Newton, her 10 grandchildren: Dylan, Cory, Craig, Brandon, Bradley, Tina, Jennifer, Josh, Val, and Darren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, three brothers: Gerald Neuser, of Rockwood, Hillary (Bev) Neuser, of Manitowoc, Hank Neuser, of Two Rivers, one sister: Jackie Kempa, of Milwaukee, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by a grandson: Jesse, one brother: Dennis, one sister: Susie.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016 at St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch Mills, with Reverend Dennis Drury officiating, and assisted by Deacon Robert Wavrunek and his wife, Christal, with burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home 344 So. State St. in Mishicot. There will be a 7:00 p.m. parish wake service led by Deacon Bob Sunday to conclude the evening visitation. Visitation will continue after 10:00 a. m. on Monday at the church, until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
