Julia L. Allen was born to Ollie and Lillie Bryan of LaCrosse, Kansas on April 2nd, 1933. She graduated from Pratt, KS High School in1951 and then went to Wichita’s St. Joseph School of Nursing, graduating in 1955. She was a nurse for 44 years, working in Pediatrics and Cardiac departments. In 1956, Julia met and married Eldo Ray Allen at Forbes AFB in Topeka, Kansas. They moved to the Rio Grande Valley from Dickson, TN in 1995 and resided in Sunshine Country Club Estates. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church where she worked with the Gabriel House-Pro-Life and Damion Center.
