Herod Bannister Dead.
Herod Bannister, a veteran of the civil war and a former resident of this city, died at his home near Seymour Friday night. The body was brought here Sunday morning and taken to the home of Mrs. Edward Bond, where the funeral was held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by Dr. A.H. Pitkin.
Relatives of Herod Bannister were called to Mr. and Mrs. Woodson's near Seymour Saturday, where Mr. Bannister died. Mrs. Woodson was his sister.
