Ralph G. Schleicher, 77, of 6648 County Road A, Sheboygan Falls, died unexpectedly on Saturday afternoon, May 5, 2007 at St. Luke Medical Center in Milwaukee.
Ralph was born on April 20, 1930, in Brillion, the son of the late Frank and Josephine (Weiers) Schleicher. He graduated from Oostburg High School in 1948.
He married the former Mary Alice Schmitz on November 18, 1953, in Marytown.
Ralph was a lifetime dairy farmer in the Town of Wilson retiring in 1995.
Ralph was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls where he was an usher and active in the St. Vincent DePaul Rural Conference. He served on the Town of Wilson Planning Commission for ten years and was a former member of the Sheboygan County Farm Bureau. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, woodworking, and supporting his grandchildren by attending many of their activities. Ralph was an active community volunteer, but his faith and his family were most important to him.
Ralph was preceded in death by two sons, Gerard and Gregg Schleicher; three sisters, infants Marie and Marela Schleicher and Angeline (Jacob) Mallinger; two brothers, Anthony (Anna) and Leo Schleicher; and one brother-in-law, Willard Schmitz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with the Rev. Robert Lotz and Deacon Wm Jens officiating. Burial will take place at St. George Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Wilson.
Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Tuesday from 3-8 pm; and on Wednesday, at church, from 9 am until the time of Mass at 10:30 am.

A memorial fund is being established in his memory for St. Vincent DePaul and the Parkinson Foundation.
