Dianne Drummond Broome, 67, of Fountain, FL formerly of Marianna, went home to be with her Lord Friday, May 22.
Dianne was born in Holmes County, Florida on May 26, 1952 to the late Mark and Eva Jean Amerson Drummond. She was an active member of Fountain’s Victory Tabernacle where she enjoyed her role as a Sunday School Teacher and the Women’s Ministry Leader. Dianne loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved plants and flowers. Her beautiful soul and kind heart shined bright through the gardens she planted through the years. She also loved to cook and was known for her sweets and her chicken and dumplings.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Broome on April 1, 2020, her parents and two brothers, David Drummond and Chris Drummond
Survived by seven children Renae (Jimmy) Hester, Kim (Jeff) Sherrer, Donalsonville, GA, Gregory (Christina) McGhee, Sale City, GA, Amber (Travis) Stone, Baconton, GA, Greg (Christie) Broome, Wade (Lisa) Broome, Michael (April) Broome, Marianna, FL; two brothers Pat (Michelle) Drummond, Chipley, FL, Pete Drummond, Cottondale, FL; one sister Cathy (Richard) Crider, Panama City, FL, sixteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two fur babies Bella and Molly.
A private service will be held at Fountain’s Victory Tabernacle with interment to follow at Lovewood Cemetery in Cottondale with James and Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.
In lieu of flowers, family request memorials be made to Fountain’s Victory Tabernacle Building Fund, 1896 Mt. Cello Road, Marianna, FL 32448
A Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later date once the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
