Mary passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Atoka, OK. She graduated from Stella High School, Stella, MO.
Mary was a telephone operator for United Telephone Company until her retirement in 1987. She married Bertram G. Brown on October 3, 1947 at Neosho, MO, he preceded in death on October 25, 1977. She later married Paul E. Raines on July 1, 1989 at Creighton, MO, he preceded her in death on November 11, 2019. Mary was a member of First Baptist Church of Harrisonville, MO, she belonged to a baptist church since the 1930's. She was a Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scout Leader, GA Leader, on a bowling league, won 21 1st place ribbons on her quilting, in a hiking club with her husband and loved to travel a lot. She enjoyed gardening and canning, doing word search puzzles, and she loved her dog and cats. Above all, she enjoyed being with her family and serving her Lord.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Gail Horn of Lehigh, OK; sons, Ron Raines and wife Marcia of Archie, MO, Bill Raines and wife Monica of Kansas City, MO; granddaughters, Hannah Raines of Archie, MO, Hailey Raines of Archie, MO, Minisa Wheeler and husband Larry of Francis, OK; great grandson, Derrick Raines of Archie, MO; niece, Christine Sumner and husband Donnie of Neosho, MO; nephews, Paul Barnett and wife Nancy of Anderson, MO, Richard Falb and wife Gail of Denver, CO; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
