Julianna Ilawski Schielke, the daughter of Michael and Matilda Ilawski was born December 4, 1862 in Blandair,now Germany she married Christian Schielke on July 13, 1884 in Bedhen, She and Christian had two children, Ida born December 6, 1884 in Blandau, Baptized in Bedhen, and George F. born March 18, 1893 in Buffalo New York, she and her husband came to the United States in 1888, they settled in Buffalo New York. around 1900 she and Christian bought a farm on Lower East hill Rd in Boston New York. On the death of her daughter in 1918, she took in her daughters 5 children, one being only 3 months old. here in her words are her feeling at that time, from family Bible, in talking of her daughter " but this is my happiness, that I myself to God and my worries are sitting on the farm " Julie lived on the farm till her death on March 9, 1935.
