Carolyn Stratton Cox, 76 of Camden, AR died Saturday, June 13, 2020. She was born September 10, 1943 in Smackover, AR to Earl H. and Bertha Clemons Stratton. Her grandparents were C.L. and Almarine Clubb Stratton and George C. and Frances Barrett Clemons. Carolyn was a 1962 graduate of Bearden High School. She graduated from what was then Henderson State Teachers College in 1965. She was a retired librarian and teacher of English and French and an member of the Camden congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Carolyn was preceded in death by five brothers: Laverne, Bill, George, Wilburn and Charles Stratton.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gary D. Cox of Camden, AR; son, John D. Cox and wife, DeeAnna of Camden, AR; two grandchildren, Kaylee Cox and John W. Cox both of Camden, AR; two sister-in-laws, Wanda Stratton of Marshall, TX and Dollie Stratton of El Dorado, AR.
