Ann Moffitt Sheltz, 57, of Dana, passed away Thursday, July 3, at the Elizabeth House following a long illness. A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was a daughter of Elizabeth Moffitt of East Flat Rock and the late Allen Moffitt. She was also preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Margaret Mary Quisenberry. She was a graduate of East Henderson High School and had been a dietician for Lakewood Manor Nursing Home. She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Sheltz is survived by her husband, Thomas Jerry Sheltz; a daughter, Candy Williams and her husband Danny of Mountain Home; a son, Hilliard Capps, Jr. and his wife Melinda of Mountain Home; two stepchildren, Debbie Jackson of Clear Creek and Thomas Sheltz, Jr. and his wife Heather of South Carolina; a sister, Edith Ward and her husband Carroll of East Flat Rock; two brothers, Donald Moffitt and his wife Martha of Hendersonville and Jimmy Moffit of Florida; twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, July 6, at Thos. Shepherd’s Church St. Chapel. Mr. Timothy Case will officiate.
