Raymond L. 'Speedy' Houser
INDIANOLA -- Raymond L. "Speedy" Houser, 60, died Sunday (June 20, 2004) at his home in Indianola.

He was born Oct. 20, 1944, to Jess "JR" and Frieda L. (Hueftle) Houser in Elwood.

In November of 1964, he married Sheri Oxford in Oconto. He worked as a farmer and rancher. The family lived on a farm south of Farnam.

He later married Sandra Hayes from Lincoln. In 1986, he moved to Indianola working for farmers in the area.

In 1993, he married Nancy Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert E. Houser.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two daughters, Shelley Houser of Atwood and Susan and husband, Jimmy Meston of Broken Bow; son, Jesse and wife, Patricia of St. Paul, Minn.; two sisters, Doris and husband, Albert Farr of Cambridge and Lilly Ruth Donner of Farnam; three brothers, Homer of Stockville, Clifford of Cambridge and Rex Wayne and wife, Carolyn of Eustis; and four grandchildren.

Service are Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at Lockenour-Jones Mortuary Chapel in Cambridge. Inurnment will be in the Eustis Cemetery in Eustis at 1:30 p.m.
